Sanur Community Market, Great article from Bali Daily Jakarta Post

On Sunday, the Sanur Community Market was held for the second time in front of organic food and products shop Satvika Bhoga on Jl. Hang Tuah.
The event ran from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and was organized by Satvika Bhoga in association with the groups Healthy Food Healthy Living (HFHL), Tamiang Bali, Akarumput and Gerilya Meja Kopi.
In the cool shade of a marquee, several rows of stalls had been set up by a diverse demographic of local restaurant owners, farmers, their urban traders and students. Several visitors had already gathered at the market from the onset, and, as the day progressed, live acoustic acts performed and many more local and foreign visitors passed through. Among the items on sale were organic fruits and vegetables, herbal cosmetics and prepared organic vegetarian food.
Former environmental activist and writer Hira Jhamtani opened Satvika Bhoga in June 2011 and said that it had been a tough start. “Organic farming has the ability to reduce and eventually eliminate the commonly used, but harmful, chemical inputs of pesticides and fertilizers.
Some of the solutions are very simple, but the government’s policies needs to change. The government currently subsidizes chemical pesticides and supports pesticide development, but they could subsidize cows instead, whose manure becomes compost.” Due to lack of education, however, farmers were not aware of this alternative, organic fertilizer.
Associated supplier Wayan Mudika, said that his goal was, “To help give the farmers connections. We help to make the local people more aware of the market opportunities, and that they can sell their produce to shops like Satvika Bhoga, as well as larger hotels, who can then be less dependent on imported goods.”
A popular stall was that of Gerilya Meja Kopi, whose profits are used to train villagers in making organic coffee and in better management of their produce. “They are usually handled by a broker, who then sells the beans for a much higher price to companies that add sugar to those naturally present, facilitating carcinogens.”
However, it has been a challenge to change the villagers’ mindset, “It can only be done by working day after day, going from door to door, village to village.
But the farmers ultimately learn that from better quality beans, they can earn a better income.” Surprisingly, many farmers were unaware of the big market for coffee within their local community, due to coffee being a traditional staple.
“We help them recognize this opportunity, and that they have the power to get much more for their work.”
Among the students present was Dwi Pradnya Ayu from Udayana University’ s Faculty of Medicine, there as a member of HFHL. “We are a community of youngsters concerned about organic food, local food and local farming. The choices we make about what food we eat determines our lives, so people need to be more concerned about the content of their food.”
Pradnya mentioned HFHL’s creative communication approach, using different media in their mission to educate other young people.
“It’s not the most advanced technology these days, but radio is still listened to by a lot by Indonesians,” citing the lasting significance of this medium.
Jhamtani commented on the collaboration with farmers who have converted to organic farming but whose lands are not completely free from chemical residue.
“Farmers need a chance, and it is important to support them in their efforts on the way. The aim with this community market is try to bring the producers to the consumers, so that they can build trust and share ideas, or simply have fun together on a Sunday morning.”
Cool.
SCM semangaaat!!!

Gravity Falls. Illuminati Symbol Everywhere!

First, Great Uncle Stan wears a fez, which is the hat worn by the Shriners – an appendant body of Freemasonry. As they like to say, all Shriners are Masons, but not Masons are Shriners.

Stan wearing a Fez hat. Also, he is hiding one eye for the heck of it.

An Old School Shriner.
Up until 2010, only 32nd Degree Scottish Rite Masons (the highest degree attainable other than the honorary 33rd) or Knight Templars of the York Rite could join the Shriners. This means that Grunkle Fez is most probably a high level Freemason. Therefore, he knows what’s the deal with all of these symbols. He knows.
Eyeballs
The show is full of eyes everywhere. There’s even a jar of eyeballs for sale at Stan’s store.

All-Seeing eye inside of triangle and more here…

This frame flashes for literally a split second at the end of the intro. We can easily recognize the Illuminati pyramid with illuminated capstone and All-Seeing eye, along with other alchemical and magical symbols. Also, there’s the Contra code on NES, which is rather hilarious.
I won’t start analyzing all of the episodes but here are some interesting shots from the first episode of Gravity Falls.

Aside from the eyeballs everywhere, the little humans in a jar are homunculi – a concept that is found in alchemy and occult rites.

All-Seeing Eye at the apex of the mountain

“Floating eyeballs, are they watching me?”.

The attic of Great Uncle Stan’s shack has a prominent Masonic stained glass window featuring a symbol that is omnipresent in this cartoon.

Stan appears to have two Owl clocks – the owl is an ancient symbol representing the occult elite (those who work in darkness), the Illuminati and the Bohemian Grove.

Check out the rug on the floor.

The letter “A” of the word “Shack” consists of a compass above and All-Seeing Eye, a combination of symbols of found in Masonic symbolism.

Berkurangnya Fungsi Pendengaran Karena Kebisingan
